ITA Airways Moves to Terminal 1 at Rome Fiumicino Airport

ITA Airways checkin Rome Airport

ITA Airways is transferring check-in and security control operations for all its intercontinental flights departing from Rome Fiumicino to Terminal 1.

Those operations were previously carried out at Terminal 3.

Therefore, the Company's check-in operations for all destinations - domestic, international and intercontinental - will now be offered in one single terminal. In addition, all passengers travelling to North American destinations will benefit from dedicated security gates including Fast Track for Business Class, Top tiers Volare and SkyTeam customers.

ITA Airways customers will have at their disposal several counters dedicated exclusively for intercontinental destinations and including a range of customised products.

The transfer of operations from Terminal 3 to Terminal 1 guarantees all ITA Airways passengers a reduction in waiting times for check-in procedures and security checks. This move contributes to further improve the airport experience.

As part of the Italian flagship carrier's strategy of placing the customer at the centre of its business, this initiative aims at creating increasingly efficient services to meet the needs of all passengers.
