Eurowings Increases Check-in Fees at Airport

Eurowings Check-in at airport

Eurowings passengers who have booked the cheapest "Basic" fare have to pay a significantly higher service fee for check-in at the airport.

From now on, 15 euros will be charged when checking in at the counter, as the Lufthansa Group reports in a newsletter to sales. So far, the surcharge was only five euros.

The prices of the other check-in options remain unchanged at Eurowings. After that, check-in via the Internet and at the self-service terminal in the airport is still free of charge. If you book an airport check-in in advance, EUR 2.50 will be charged.

Early baggage drop-off

Eurowings offers an additional baggage check-in the evening before for flights from 02.03.2023 to 31.10.2023. You can drop off your baggage at the check-in counter between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm the day before for a service fee of EUR 5.00 (incl. taxes).
