Currently, ANA operates one flight per day between Tokyo (Haneda) and Los Angeles, and one flight per day between Tokyo (Narita) and Los Angeles.

bombardier global 6000seriesA new research from Colibri Aircraft, which specializes in the marketing, resale and purchase of pre-owned private aircraft, reveals that across six different types of private jet, the average asking price decreased by around 35% between April 2014 and April 2017, when it fell from around $13.7 million to $8.9 million.  Between April 2016 and April 2017, the average asking price fell by $1.97 million.

Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, now connects Berlin Schönefeld with Lviv in West Ukraine. Flights will depart every Wednesday and Sunday, at 11.15 am, where passengers can reach the picturesque city, close to the Carpathian Mountains, in just an hour and a half.

Airports Council International (ACI) says that global passenger traffic achieved record levels in April 2017, increasing 9.3% year-over-year. International and domestic passenger traffic rose 14.3% and 5.4% respectively.

ethiopian b777business classBoeing and Ethiopian Airlines announced a commitment to purchase two 777 Freighters at the 2017 Paris Air Show, valued at $651.4 million at list prices. The airline also announced an order for 10 additional 737 MAX 8 airplanes, exercising options from their 2014 order, which was the largest for the 737 MAX in Africa. Ethiopian now has firm orders for 30 737 MAX 8s.

ATR 42 600ATR, the world's leading manufacturer of turboprop aircraft, and Shaanxi Tianju Investment Group (Tianju) have signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) for the purchase of 10 ATR 42-600s to develop commuter service in Xinjiang, China. The first deliveries are expected to start as soon as possible in 2018.

lufthansa a380Lufthansa announced plans to station five Airbus A380 widebody airliners at its Munich hub in the summer of next year. By deploying the world's largest passenger aircraft, Lufthansa will not only substantially boost its capacity on long-haul routes to and from Munich, but will also establish a new premium service for passengers using Munich Airport.  

scoot takeoffScoot, Asia/Pacific’s best low cost airline, is set to get bigger and better from 25 July, as Scoot and Tigerair aim to complete their integration and operate all flights under the Scoot brand, subject to final regulatory approval.

flydubaiKilimanjaro will become the 3rd destination of flydubai in Tanzania when the carrier starts flights from 29 October. The relaunched service to the carrier’s third point in Tanzania, along with Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar, will see flydubai’s network in Africa expand to 12 destinations.
