Sharjah Airport has welcomed the first flight from Air Cairo, marking the commencement of the airline’s scheduled services to and from the airport.
This move is a response to the growing demand for passenger and cargo flights, with the aim of efficiently and qualitatively addressing the needs of passengers.
Air Cairo will operate a total of six weekly flights using Airbus A320 aircraft. This schedule includes four weekly flights to and from Cairo International Airport, taking place on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Additionally, there will be one weekly flight to and from Sohag International Airport every Saturday, and another weekly flight to and from Assiut International Airport on Tuesdays.
The inclusion of these new destinations greatly enriches the existing network of Sharjah Airport, underscoring the unwavering commitment of Sharjah Airport Authority to enhance the airport’s status as a preferred hub for air travel.
