Mandara Spa has entered into a new agreement to operate a spa facility at the Lotte Hotel Saint Petersburg, Russia. The hotel will be managed by Lotte Hotels and Resorts and is anticipated to commence operations in mid-2017.
Lotte Hotel Saint Petersburg is planned to be a five-star luxury property situated near Saint Isaac’s Square and constructed on the historically significant location of Yakuchikova’s mansion, built in 1849. Architects plan to preserve the building’s historical front face and walls, while modifying the inner layout in accordance with a new unique design.
Mandara Spa is designed to be a 440 sq. meter, Asian inspired facility, offering a contemporary yet luxurious environment, and reflecting elements of Russian style. Among notable features are a double spa suite with hydrobath and steam-shower, three single treatment rooms, changing rooms with sauna, a swimming pool, and a fitness centre. The spa design is supported by a service style intended to cater to each guest’s need for escape, unobtrusive delivery of services, and extraordinary attention to detail, offered by a team of dedicated spa professionals.
The specially created spa menu will focus on offering each guest a unique spa experience, featuring Mandara’s signature spa rituals and massages, complemented with a range of high performance European face and body treatments, intended for fast results and effortless maintenance.
Leonard Fluxman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Steiner Leisure Limited, the ultimate parent company of Mandara Spa Asia Limited, said, “We are very excited to pursue our second spa endeavour in Russia, to expand on our successful experience with the esteemed Lotte Group’s 300-room Lotte Hotel Moscow, where we’ve offered our luxury services since the opening of that hotel in 2010. We look forward to welcoming visitors of historic St. Petersburg to enjoy the singular experience of Mandara Spa.”
