Cuba's tourism industry grows at a fast pace. The country surpassed 1 million visitors in the first quarter of 2015. The one-million mark was reached on March 21 and accounts for a 14-percent increase.
Canada remains Cuba's major tourist-sending market with an increase of 12.6 percent, followed by Germany (23.3 percent), France (22.8), the United Kingdom (30.6) and Italy (10.8).
In 2014, Cuba received more than three million foreign tourists for the first time, accounting for an interannual increase of 5.3 percent.
