Pacific World has recently extended its business reach into Southern Africa, covering Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe from South Africa and Namibia offices.

Gill Dewar will be focussing on bringing Pacific World DMC*, Event Management and PCO expertise to South African market. Commenting on her new appointment, Dewar said, “I am excited about re-establishing the excellent existing reputation that Pacific World has in the South African MICE market and to introducing clients to the recently expanded Pacific World portfolio. There is a need for DMC diversity and variety in the industry and the new portfolio will definitely ensure this.”

Dewar has been working in the MICE industry since 1995 and prior to joining Pacific World, she was the MICE Product Manager for Tourvest Travel Services (Seekers Travel and American Express Travel Services). She has a track record of delivering excellent destination knowledge as well as maintaining excellent supplier and client relations.
