British fashion brand Reiss has returned to Heathrow Terminal 5 with a new store concept. Heathrow T5 Reiss, opened on March 20, will deliver a scaled-down but equally potent version of its lead destinations for in-transit decadence. Cascading Reiss’ DNA throughout, the revitalized store concept is particularly notable for showcasing a new fluidity between the men’s and women’s collections, unifying the brand vision within a singular visual voice.
Rendered largely in robust but ultra-luxurious materials – anchored by a glazed shard installation rendered in umbra tones derived from key blue onyx furniture elements- the showroom/gallery style aesthetic concept presents a seductive sense of toughness and precision that serves as a reminder of the brand’s classically skilled roots in tailoring and high-level design.
Reflecting Reiss’ commitment to directional, design-led fashion its stores have grown accordingly to become individualized beacons of artistic modern luxury - mixing high quality traditional craftsmanship with innovative material developments fused with a subtly playful emphasis on glamour.
Other sites adopting the new design narrative will include two new debut stores in Toronto, Canada, the Westfield WTC in New York and an upcoming re-crafting of the UK store portfolio.
