The Association education stream delivered at AIBTM will kick off on June 11 (AIBTM’s official Education Day) at 9:30am with a session dedicated to helping attendees understand the North American Meeting Buyer which will take place in room W194 at McCormick Place.
The session, which will be delivered by the International Convention and Congress Association (ICCA), will feature a large panel of U.S. meeting planners and ICCA members who will share their experience of working in the North American market and will include round-table discussions which will allow meetings industry suppliers the opportunity to ask valuable questions which will help them to prepare for the business opportunities available on the show floor over the two remaining days.

A variety of topics ranging from buyer psychology and preferred ways of working to best PR and marketing channels will be covered in the round table discussions. The session will also cover useful tips on how meetings industry suppliers should promote their brads to North American Meeting Buyers.

The second part of the Association Education stream will take place at 2:00pm later that day with; ‘Going Global – Answers to North American Planners’ Toughest Questions’. This session will also assume an interactive format with round-table discussions between North American planners and international suppliers from other regions.
