Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture has travelled to South Africa where he will be leading the island's private sector delegation to INDABA, the Tourism Trade Fair in Durban South Africa.
South Africa and the neighbouring Countries of Southern Africa remain important tourism markets for Seychelles and this has grown in importance ever since SAA (South Africa Airways) entered into Code Share agreements with the island's Air Seychelles.
This year South Africa KwaZulu Natal was a co-host of the Seychelles annual Carnaval International de Victoria alongside La Reunion, Madagascar and Mayotte islands. This demonstrated the friendly ties that exist between the two countries and also the level of cooperation that exists between these two SADC Countries.
Minister Alain St.Ange will be holding a press conference whilst in Durban and is set to fly back to Seychelles on Sunday.
