The renowned Turkish twin pianists Arzu & Gamze Kırtıl are coming to the UK on September 15, 2012 to play a 7.30pm concert at St John’s Smith Square, London.

arzu gamze-kirtilThe dynamic and innovative Istanbul born Kırtıl sisters have become one of the most impressive piano duets of recent years, attracting plaudits, spanning continents and delighting audiences with their exciting performances.

This concert features 2 double piano concertos: Mozart’s Concerto 365 in Eb, his final concert written before the end of his early Salzburg period, and Poulenc’s Concerto in D minor, an important and exciting part of the two player repertoire.

Arzu & Gamze will be playing alongside Philharmonia Britannica, under the baton of Peter Fender. The orchestra will also be performing the perennial favourites Mendelssohn’s Hebrides Overture and Beethoven’s Symphony No 5 in C minor.

The beautiful and elegant Baroque setting of St John’s, will lend itself perfectly, aesthetically and acoustically, to an evening of beautiful music.
