Izmir will host the first Turkish Euro MENA ENAT Tourism 4 All Forum and Expo between 28 November and 1 December 2014.
The event is conducted by Turkish Culture and Tourism Ministry, Izmir Governorship, Izmir Culture and Tourism Directorate, Turkish Airlines, TURSAB, IZSATU, Izmir Chamber of Commerce and in cooperation with ICVB, Izmir University Hospital, Izmir City Council, Izmir City Federation, European Council of Turkish Business Cooperation and World Council of Turkish Economy Cooperation (ATIK-TUDEIK), Anatolia Autism Association, Teos Lions, Di-Ar Tourism.
The event, which will take place at Çeşme Radisson Blu Hotel, will host governments, NGOs and civil society representatives from 23 countries.
The Forum and expo in Izmir will showcase and promote accessible tourism as an effective means for poverty eradication, employment generation and social inclusion. Successful models for improving accessibility in the tourism industry will also be presented during the Forum. The experience of developed countries will be shared with developing countries. Additionally, best practices will be evaluated in the framework of United Nations 2002 Action on Ageing Strategy and Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
