Turkey’s second busiest airport, Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport handled a total of 2.5 million passengers in November 2017, representing an increase of 11% from November 2016.
A total of 28,735,134 passengers traveled at the airport in the first 11 months of 2017, achieved 5% increase compared to same period last year. In November 2016 period, the airport handled a total of 2,292,772, and 27,430,868 between January – November 2016.
In the first 11 months, a total of 9.5 million passengers accounted for international travel; representing 8% increase over last year and 19.2 million passengers flew on domestic routes; recording a 3% increase.
Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport handled 29.6 million passengers in 2016.
