TGA at WTM Virtual

TGA Represents Turkey in First Virtual WTM Event London

Turkey was represented by the Turkey Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) at the first virtual WTM London Fair.

One of the top meetings of the travel industry since it was launched in 1980, WTM was held online due to the pandemic for the first time this year.

TGA engages in communication and marketing efforts to make Turkey a trademark and a center of attraction in domestic and international tourism, exploring, developing and promoting natural, cultural, biological and human-made heritage of Turkey. The Agency attended WTM London to help Turkey achieve its tourism objectives and to promote and market its tourism potential worldwide in line with the tourism strategies and policies defined by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

In the course of the 4-day event, Turkey Tourism Promotion and Development Agency met individually with approximately 100 stakeholders including travel agencies, tour operators, members of the press and influencers, and informed them about the Agency’s products and strategies.

WTM London hosted participants from different parts of the world with live conference sessions and forums as well as individual meetings for three days. The road to recovery and the new trends and innovations shaping the future of the industry were discussed in the sessions about the impact of the global pandemic on the travel and tourism industry.

TGA and Turkish Culture And Tourism London Office represented Turkey in the online event. ELA Resort, Corendon Airlines, Turkish Healthcare Travel Council and Turkish Airlines also attended Turkey’s booth as sub participants.
