Turkish Airlines and Air Serbia Sign Cooperation Deal

Turkish Airlines

The flag carriers of Türkiye and Serbia have signed a deal to deepen their commercial cooperation.

The deal will help Turkish Airlines and Air Serbia to offer more competitive and affordable flights between the two countries and improve the quality of services.

The new memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed during the International Air Transport Association's (IATA) annual meeting held in Doha, Qatar on June 19-21.

Starting from July, Air Serbia will introduce additional flights on the Belgrade-Istanbul route, while Turkish Airlines will allocate wide-body aircraft to this route twice a week.

Within the scope of the MOU, both parties will negotiate to boost existing cooperation in terms of codeshare, cargo and Frequent Flyer Program (FFP), while developing cooperation alternatives on passenger lounges in their networks.

Established in 1933, Turkish Airlines flies to more than 340 international passenger and cargo destinations in 129 countries.

Air Serbia has been a leader in air travel in Southeast Europe since its foundation in 1927.
