THY Cargo planeTurkish Cargo today launches cargo flights to Miami, one of the most strategical cargo destinations in the United States and in the world. Turkish Cargo’s Miami cargo flights are to be operated with Boeing 777-200F, the cargo aircraft newly acquired the past month.

Turkish Airlines and Airbus signed an MoU to acquire 20+5 optional A350-900 aircraft. The agreement was signed at the Élysée Palace, Paris, during Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s official visit to France with French President Emmanuel Macron.

thy airbus a321After completing 2017 successfully, Turkish Airlines has now set its targets for 2018, the year in which the carrier will move its hub to the 3rd Airport of Istanbul.

Pegasus Airlines made the single largest-ever aircraft order in Turkish civil aviation history at the time in 2012 of 100 A320neo and A321neo aircraft; 75 of which were firm and 25 options.  The remaining 25 A321neo options have now been confirmed as firm orders.

Directorate General of Merchant Marine announced the total number of cruise ships and passengers using Turkish ports. According to the statistics, a total of 307 cruise ships and 306.887 thousand travelers used Turkish ports between January and November. During the same period last year, a total of 537 cruise ships docked to Turkish ports, while 628.033 passengers used ports.
