Turkey’s tourism income has shown strong recovery in the second quarter of the year. In the second quarter, from April through June, tourism income increased by 8.7% and reached to US$5 billion 413 million 48 thousand. While 81.3% of this income (excluding GSM roaming and marina service expenditures) was obtained from foreign visitors, 18.7% was obtained from citizens residing abroad.
