Anne takes up this new role following the retirement of Jo Ashman who had been with the airline for more than 40 years.

Anne’s role will see her take over responsibility for managing and developing the relationship between SAS and its corporate customers and travel management companies.

Before joining SAS Anne worked as the General Manager at the Institute of Travel Management where she was responsible for managing the association's education and training programmes and developing the ITM Academy.  Previous experience includes spent over twenty years with British Airways in a variety of senior roles covering sales, operations, training, marketing and e-commerce. She has also spent some time in the rail industry as Head of Distribution at the Association of Train Operating Companies and was a Regional Manager for Virgin Trains managing a team of over 200 people which included staff at Virgins’ main station, Euston.

Anne will report to Hans Dyhrfort, Regional Manager SAS UK & Ireland, who commented, “Anne brings a wealth of experience both in sales and in team management.  We are sure that she will bring a fresh and energetic approach to help SAS UK prosper in this competitive market.”

With more than 270 flights a week from the UK and Ireland to Scandinavia and Finland, SAS has double the amount of flights than any other carrier to the region.
