Chaminda-RanasingheIn this role, Ranasinghe will lead the commercial team to maximise conversion and revenue globally. He will be responsible for driving the organisation’s strategic commercial direction which includes hotel inventory strategy, partner marketing and merchandising opportunities. With a data driven background, he is keen to develop detailed analytics to measure company performance and drive its success.

Prior to joining HotelClub, Ranasinghe honed his eCommerce skills in insurance based financial services at Zurich and Aviva in the UK. Responsible for digital strategy, he initiated a large-scale program to revolutionise Aviva’s digital offering in the UK and was responsible for the digital elements of the global rebrand in 2009. Before moving to the UK,

Ranasinghe developed his diverse background with previous positions in the retail, automotive and consumer sectors at Ford Motor Company, IBM and Coles Myer Limited in Australia.

Ranasinghe is a passionate traveler who has visited over 250 destinations, from Alexandria to Zurich, across 50 countries and has plans for many more. He is an Australian citizen based in Sydney where he lives with his wife.
