sabine-rennerAged 36, this foreign language (she speaks 5 of them fluently) and culture enthusiast boasts an impressive international career.

A German/Brazilian national, Sabine was born in Sao Paulo where she lived for 15 years. She then flew to Europe, starting with Germany and then with Austria, where she took specialised higher education courses in the tourism and hotel industry at the “Tourism College - Klessheim”.

For 5 years, she built up a substantial background in the profession through a succession of internships and a Trainee Management programme, holding a variety of positions such as Night Audit, Receptionist, Concierge and others, in various luxury hotels affiliated to “Relais & Châteaux” in England, Austria and finally in the United States.

In 2001, she landed a position as Groups Coordinator at the Arabella Sheraton Grand Hotel in Munich (Starwood Hotels & Resorts Group) and quickly moved into a role as Convention Sales Executive in charge of supervising the organisation of conferences and functions holding over 1,000 people. A yearning for travel and for sunshine eventually led her to Spain, where she was transferred into another hotel in the Group, The Westin La Quinta Golf Resort in Marbella. While there, she took on sales management duties, ultimately landing the position of Sales and Marketing Director.

As part of her quest for the discovery of different cultures, in 2008 she decided to move to the Middle East where she successively headed the Sales and Marketing Department at the Ritz- Carlton Hotel and the Grand Millennium Hotel in Dubai.

She is now settling in France, in Cannes, which she describes as one of the greatest destinations in the world. She is consequently making good use of her French, a language she is particularly fond of, and the first foreign language she chose to learn at school, before English… Her international experience in the luxury hotel industry and expertise in the Individual and Groups segments place her in an excellent position to enhance the Sales & Marketing function at the Hotel Martinez.
