In this new role, he will be responsible for the building the company’s relationships with the travel industry and charged with executing the roll-out of a worldwide sales organisation.

onefinestay is a novel innovation in upscale accommodation and is redefining the experience of city travel. Guests live like a local in a distinctive private home while the owner is out of town, but with all the comforts and conveniences of a hotel, including 5* linens and towels, toiletries, a dedicated Guest Services team and even an iPhone for the duration of their stay. John Clarke joins the business at an exciting stage in its growth, with the company now established in London since its launch here two years ago, and following its recent highly successful expansion to New York in May 2012.

John will be pioneering a campaign of global outreach to travel agency partners, spanning both leisure agents and corporate booking agents, to enhance onefinestay’s impressive growth and raise awareness of the brand’s unique concept within the industry. He will be responsible for defining a global sales strategy and building a sales team across key international markets.

He brings to onefinestay’s team more than 22 years of experience in sales and marketing in the hotel industry, most recently as Director of Sales and Marketing at Great Hotels of the World. His previous experience also includes Director of Sales and Marketing at Millennium Hotel in Mayfair and several years at Starwood Hotels & Resorts, including a year at The Westin in Sydney.
