“We are thrilled to welcome Biby to the Kimpton team,” said Eric Jellson, area director of sales and marketing for Kimpton’s Florida hotels. “She brings fresh, unique and thoughtful ideas to the table, and represents the budding voice within today’s millennial travel industry. Her passion and drive is unmatched, and we look forward to her contributions as we continue to make strides as one cohesive team.”

There, Banna was involved in the aggressive expansion of the company’s business quality control while also conducting strategic market analysis to identify new segment opportunities for growth.
Banna’s hotel experience comes from her time with Sheraton. In 2010, she was named sales and marketing coordinator at Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel and Casino, where her responsibilities included the management of public relations initiatives, handling business travel groups for key clients, and managing booking, proposals and contracts. After two years, Banna made the transition to business development and lead generator at the Sheraton Denver Downtown, where she led the team in sales prospecting and planning, customer service and marketing.
A Washington, D.C. native, Banna graduated with a Bachelors degree in Microbiology from George Washington University and received her Sales and Marketing Certification from Sagrado de Corazon University in Puerto Rico. With her multilingual capabilities, Banna looks forward to building relationships with her fellow marketing team, in addition to hotel guests. A passionate leader, Banna values the connections she makes with her guests and always makes an effort to engage on a personal level – a signature element the Kimpton brand is known for.
