The new directors join a team of strategically placed sales executives located in key markets throughout the country and will focus on developing, expanding and generating new business opportunities for the brand throughout their designated regions.
Additionally, both Lunenfeld and Weinfeld will be responsible for the creation and execution of effective business development strategies with a focus on the Midwest and South Central regions.
Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Susy Lunenfeld brings almost 20 years of sales experience and a deep familiarization of the Mexican market to her position as Regional Director of Sales for the Midwest. Prior to joining the Palace Resorts team, Lunenfeld most recently held the title of Director of Sales for the Midwest and Eastern Canadian regions with Starwood Mexico Resorts where she oversaw sales initiatives for three different brands including St. Regis, Westin and Sheraton. Lunenfeld has also held titles such as Global Sales Director for Morgans Hotel Group, Group Sales Manager for Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts and National Sales Manager for The Ritz-Carlton in Amelia Island. Her outstanding knowledge of the industry will assist the brand in growing business throughout the Midwest region.
With more than two decades of tourism experience in sales, marketing and public relations, Carrie Weinfeld joins the Palace Resorts team as Regional Director of Sales for the South Central market. In her most recent position, Weinfeld held the title of Sales Manager for Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa focusing on the Midwest and Southeast regions and incentive business for more than ten years. Her past experiences include working with top brands within the travel and tourism sector including Embassy Suites and The Four Seasons.
