Ahmed-AtefAhmed received his bachelor's degree in Hotel Management (Helwan University) in 1997. After training in several hotel chains during his college years, Ahmed started his professional career with the Cairo Marriott where he spent the first 10 years building up his knowledge and expertise starting from the front desk and reservations, where he gained valuable understanding of the operations before moving to group coordinator, where he later discovered that his true passion lies in sales and marketing. With his strong negotiation skills and hunger to excel, he quickly climbed within the Marriott sales organization, reaching senior sales manager.

Ahmed joined Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza in March 2007 as Sales Manager in charge of the leisure segment. He immediately portrayed true salesmanship, professionalism and expertise in all sales functions. He is extremely organized, has a sharp eye for detail, and excellent negotiation skills in addition to being a great team player. All these qualities have advanced his career to become Associate Director of Sales - Travel in January 2011, and soon after Director of Sales in October 2012.

With his expert knowledge of the market, solid client relationships that he has nurtured over the years and effective people leadership skills, he has been instrumental in achieving the Hotel's leadership position in the market. In 2011, Ahmed was a key player in the successful Cairo - Alexandria Sales and Marketing consolidation, where he effectively led the two sales teams in selling the two Hotels to achieve their respective budgets.

On a personal note, Ahmed loves music, enjoys working out, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
