Singapore-based hotel management group; Furama announces senior management movements of General Manager for Furama RiverFront and Hotel Manager for Furama City Centre.
After a successful tenure as General Manager of Furama City Centre, Mr. Kwan Hun Fah has assumed the position of General Manager at Furama RiverFront, the award-winning flagship of FHI, a five-time TTG Awards Mid-Range Hotel winner. Kwan, a seasoned hospitality industry professional with over two decades of experience under his belt, has been with the Furama group since 2006, when he joined Furama RiverFront as an Assistant Director of Sales. His first stint into the hotel industry began in his teens as a waiter, after which he worked through the ranks across various functions building his existing depth and breadth.
As Kwan leads the management team in Furama RiverFront, he will continue to ensure an enhancement in guest experience and improve operational efficiency within the premier business hotel. The hotelier continues to inspire his team with his knowledge and charisma as he derives great satisfaction from the successful development and progression of his staff.
Mr. Jovian Hun, previously Executive Assistant Manager of Furama City Centre, has been promoted to Hotel Manager of the 445-room property. A hospitality veteran with 24 years of experience in the industry, Hun ascended through the ranks over the years, starting out as Front Office Manager for Furama RiverFront before being promoted to Executive Assistant Manager for Furama City Centre in 2012.
In his new appointment as Hotel Manager, he will continue to lead the formulation and implementation of strategies to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency within the business hotel. As a highly passionate and goal-driven individual, Hun believes that the best way to bring the best out of his team is through extensive knowledge-sharing and training programmes. His personal mantra embodies his success: “Be passionate with your work and have a strong sense of purpose in life.”
