Velas Resorts in Mexico has promoted Roció Cervantes to Director of Sales of Grand Velas Los Cabos and Mar del Cabo.
In her new position, she is responsible for the development and implementation of worldwide sales at the AAA Five Diamond ultra-luxury all-inclusive resort and its European Plan sister property in Baja California. The appointment is effective immediately.
Bringing more than 10 years of sales experience, Cervantes most recently served as Associate Director of Sales at Grand Velas Los Cabos. She began her tenure with Velas Resorts at the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit in 2017.
Prior to joining the company, she worked in sales for Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, IHG, Playa Resorts, and Camino Real.
Cervantes is a graduate of The Anahuac University in Mexico. She is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian.
