Fairmont Orchid Appoints Chris Sessions

Fairmont Orchid, a luxury resort along the pristine Kohala Coast of Hawai‘i Island, announced the appointment of Chris Sessions as the new Director of Sales & Marketing as of July 5, 2022.

Chris will lead all aspects of sales strategies, revenue management, conference services and brand partnerships for the acclaimed 540-room oceanfront destination.

“He brings with him a robust background in luxury sales, a deep desire to serve our community and a passion to ensure our guests continue to enjoy an exceptional experience when they visit our island home. This winning combination is poised to move our property forward to new heights.”

With more than 15 years of leadership experience in the hospitality industry, Sessions was most recently the Director of Sales for Nemacolin, a 2,200 acre luxury resort in Farmington, Pennsylvania. Prior to that role, Sessions held the position of Director of Sales, Marketing & Events for Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa & Marina in San Diego, California. He also served as the Associate Director of Sales at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa in California. Sessions launched his hospitality career with Sheraton Myrtle Beach Convention Center Hotel and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with an emphasis on Marketing, from Coastal Carolina University in Conway, S.C.

Sessions resides on Hawai‘i Island with his wife, Kimberly, and their beloved English bulldog, Jax.
