Thailand was not a much-talked country within the tourism industry during the first few years of Millennial.
Bangkok was having a very old airport, no proper roads, traffic was disastrous, there were almost no hotels, partly as a destination some developments around Pattaya, and a little around Phuket. There are no proper airlines to fly to the country other than the Thai airlines and country was welcoming less than 10 million tourists.
Thailand welcomed 38 million tourists and received 62 billion dollars of tourism income in 2018.
This is a success story. We have seen how this success story is written during our recent visit to TTM Plus tourism fair beginning of June 2019.
