Closer to home, Reunion Island, Mauritius and Rodrigues will be sending over a delegation comprising of performing artists as well as a painter, among others.

Meanwhile in Seychelles, businesses and numerous other partners who are proud to display their pride of being a creole entity have been coming forward to Minister Alain St.Ange at the Ministry of Tourism and Culture to see how they can help make the Festival Kreol 2013 a roaring success.

This year the Ministry of Tourism and Culture plans to hold the celebrations with mass participation; the Laserenad – which involves many dressed in traditional garbs to the beat of catchy and infectious music parading in town centre – and various musical performances in Victoria are bound to catch locals and visitors attentions.
