Boardwalk Investment Group Acquires Three New Property in California

Boardwalk Investment Group, the privately-held commercial real estate investment firm of Gary Jabara, founder and chair of ioXt, the global standard for IOT security, has recently acquired three notable assets in Northern and Southern California.

Spanning hospitality, residential,and retail sites, the properties include an eight-story apartment complex in San Diego’s Little Italy, The Flower Hill Promenade and shopping center in Del Mar, and the 22-acre Estate Yountville resort in Napa Valley.

With its strategic new acquisitions, Boardwalk Investment Group now owns a combined 449,870 square feet of retail and office space as well as 120 residential units, and 193 rooms of hospitality space in the fastest growing West Coast destinations, including San Diego, Orange County, and Napa Valley. These recent investments, which have a combined purchase value of $620,800,000.00, exemplify Boardwalk Investment’s Group’s commitment to strategic expansion in leading real estate markets.

1810 State St. San Diego

The eight-story apartment complex is located at 1810 State St. in San Diego’s iconic Little Italy neighborhood, a cultural landmark which has become increasingly popular with younger residents of “America's Finest City.” Acquired in an all cash transaction via 1031 exchange, the eight story complex was built in 2017 and features ninety-nine units with a mix of studio, one, and two bedroom apartments with an average unit size of 721 sq ft. Amenities include luxury wood-plank style flooring, floor-to-ceiling windows, bay and city skyline views, nine-foot ceiling, walk-in closets, in-unit laundry, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and more.
