moscow trainstation in stpetersburgRussian Railways (RZD) plans to open business lounges for premium class passengers at railway stations, Russian Railways corporate television reported.

The first business lounge was opened in St. Petersburg at the Moscow railway station. Passengers of the first and business classes of high-speed trains "Sapsan", as well as passengers of "business" and "luxury" classes of trains "Megapolis", "Red Arrow" and "Express" can visit it for free, RZD-TV notes.

"This is the first such project on the passenger infrastructure of the railways, this experience is planned to be extended to other most popular loaded stations of the network, primarily the Moscow complexes - Leningradsky, Kazansky and Paveletsky, as well as Volgograd 1 and Kazan," adds the channel.
