Virgin Trains, formerly Brightline, first began service in January 2018, offering a stress-free, car-free way to travel around South Florida. This past June, it celebrated its latest milestone; one million riders.

Russian Railways announced the latest statistics of its rail passenger business segment. According to the stats, almost 108.4 million passengers were transported on the infrastructure of Russian Railways in July 2019, 2.6% more than in the same month last year.

OJSC Russian Railways Logistics, together with the FESCO Transport Group ("FESCO") is expanding its geography and launching a transit route from the Republic of Korea to Europe. These initiatives are part of the development of the Trans-Siberian LandBridge Accelerated Delivery Service.

Amtrak announced the launch of Acela Nonstop, a new offering with direct service between Washington Union Station (WAS) and New York Penn Station (NYP), beginning Monday, Sept. 23, with tickets now available.

Eurostar, the high-speed passenger rail service linking the UK with mainland Europe, is opening sales for travel to the French Alps next ski season. On 17^th July 2019, tickets will be available for travel throughout the winter between 20^th December 2019 and 11^th April 2020.

Belmond announces the creation of three new Grand Suites set to join the legendary Venice Simplon-Orient-Express for the 2020 season. The new suites, Vienna, Prague and Budapest, are named after iconic European cities the train travels to every year.
