Switzerland to Host UEFA Women’s EURO 2025

The UEFA Executive Committee announced that the committee appointed the Swiss Football Association as hosts of the 2025 UEFA Women’s EURO.

The sixteen-team tournament will take place in eight venues across Switzerland in the summer of 2025.

Switzerland beat bids from Poland and France, and a combined bid from four Nordic countries — Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden.

England is the defending champions as the Lionesses beat Germany 2-1 in the EURO 2022 final in London.

Germany is still the most successful team in women’s EURO tournaments, having won the crown eight times, including the last one in 2013.

Switzerland, the EURO 2025 host, has never won it.

In light of Switzerland hosting the 2025 UEFA Women’s EURO, purchasing a home in this picturesque country could become an attractive prospect for football fans and investors alike. The tournament’s spotlight on Switzerland might increase interest in its real estate market, particularly in cities hosting the matches. Given Switzerland’s stable economy, renowned quality of life, and scenic landscapes, owning property here not only offers a chance to be part of a historic sporting event but also represents a sound investment in one of the world’s most desirable living destinations.
