American Sports in London this summer

American sports will be in the spotlight in London this summer as more US athletes and events than ever before choose the UK capital as their second home. Premier League Football attracts millions of travelers worldwide

New research from VisitBritain shows the power of the Premier League in driving inbound tourism amongst overseas football fans, with more than three-quarters of those surveyed intending to visit the UK during the next two years. Football is the number one sporting draw for international tourists to the UK with more than 800,000 international visitors going to a football match annually, spending £684 million during their time in the country.

Phuket Surf Fest 2019 kicked off

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Phuket Office recently organized the “Phuket Surf Fest 2019” to kick off the Phuket Surf Series 2019, scheduled from June to September, and promote tourism during the current Green Season.

Today, the Empire State Building announced that elite tower runner Suzy Walsham will return to the World's Most Famous Building on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, for the Empire State Building Run-Up (ESBRU) Presented by Turkish Airlines Powered by the Challenged Athletes Foundation, to secure her spot as the most decorated athlete in the history of this race.
