One year after launching connectivity directly to Lufthansa inventory (through LH web services), now, dcs plus, a leading travel technology company, has added a new direct connect option to Emirates’ inventory.
Through this new NDC compliant communication link, more than 350,000 travel professionals in over 45 markets can benefit of a flexible and transparent access to Emirate’s full content, including schedules, fares, availability, special offers and ancillary services.
This partnership is a response to the challenges and technological needs faced by today’s travel industry players and is backed by dcs plus long-term industry expertise and deep understanding of the current distribution landscape.
‘dcs plus is proudly carrying on its consistent growth and is continuously investing in its technology and services. The new partnership with Emirates is further evidence of our commitment for the MENA region. We take this opportunity to thank Emirates for being a key strategic partner for us. I am confident that our joined efforts will translate into exciting and remarkable opportunities for the top travel agencies in the region.’ said Cristian Dinca, dcs plus’s founder and CEO.
Emirates launched its online B2B Application Programme Interface (API) in April to foster stronger B2B partnerships. The direct connect solution allows distribution partners, like dcs plus, to directly connect to Emirates’ host reservation system providing access to availability, pricing, shopping and ticketing.
With this launch, dcs plus purpose is to provide choice, through additional options that complement the traditional air content distribution. The technology developed brings flexibility for the customers, as they have the freedom to choose what works best for them: either to book Emirates services from Global Distribution Systems or through Direct Connect option. Those interested in direct connection from Emirates, should contact the nearest Emirates station.
