Given the announcement by Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak, the Las Vegas Monorail Company (LVMC) announces the system will temporarily suspend operations until further notice beginning at 12 p.m. on March 18, 2020.

“The health and safety of our visitors, fellow community members and employees is of the utmost importance during this unprecedented time,” said Ingrid Reisman, vice president and chief marketing officer, Las Vegas Monorail Company. “We are confident our Las Vegas community will get through this together and we look forward to welcoming our riders once more when the time is right.”

To keep up to date—and to enjoy an ongoing virtual vacation featuring some of Las Vegas’ most beloved views—follow the Monorail on Instagram and Facebook @lvmonorail. All Monorail passes already purchased are valid for 12 months from the purchase date. The Las Vegas Monorail Company will share more information on operations as it becomes available.
