Jordan Removed Travellers’ Quarantine Requirement

The Kingdom of Jordan announced that self-quarantine will no longer be required for passengers arriving in Jordan.

However, travelers should present a valid Negative PCR test result that has been done within the past 72 hours.

Another PCR mandatory test will be given at the airport for all arrivals above 5 years of age at their own expense. The price of the COVID-19 test is 28 JOD which is approx. US$40 – €33 – 29GBP. The test result takes 2-5 hours.

The quarantine will only be required for those who test positive for COVID-19 upon arrival.

If the PCR result is positive then the traveler will be sent to the Ministry of Health office at the airport to arrange his/her safe departure from the airport and transported to the dedicated COVID hospital for treatment (treatment for non Jordanians will be at their own expense).
