Korea Removes Isolation Period from April 2022

From April 01, 2022, all fully vaccinated travelers visiting Korea will be exempted from staying in isolation (7days currently).

But unvaccinated arrivals must stay in the isolation facility for 7 days.

All entrants must take Covid-19 PCR test 48 hours before arriving in Korea and within 24hrs after entry into Korea, also you are required to take a rapid antigen test on your own on 6th or 7th day after arrival.

Before arriving in Korea, you should complete input of quarantine information (valid passport, email address, airline ticket and health condition information) with Covid-19 Vaccination record and PCR Negative test result on https://cov19ent.kdca.go.kr/

Don’ forget your K-ETA.

K-ETA is an electronic travel authorization that visa-free foreign visitors need to obtain before entering the Republic of Korea, by submitting relevant information online such as their travel information.

(K-ETA is not a visa, but It is an electronic travel authorization similar to that of ESTA in USA)
