Yoga Unwined, the Austin, Texas and New York City-based yoga and wine education company, is beginning to offer classes in Los Angeles, beginning on February 10 at the Bay Club Pacific Palisades.
“I am excited to have a presence on both coasts, as well as my home state of Texas,” says Vino Vinyasa founder Morgan Perry. “Los Angeles is the perfect market, with health conscious clientele who also love wine and have a passion for a well-balanced life.”
Vino Vinyasa Yoga® events combine wine education with vinyasa-style yoga classes. Each experience ends with a comparative wine tasting, which takes place after the yoga flow. The company’s certified yoga teachers also hold wine certifications. Events are currently held at luxury hotels, event spaces, wine bars, urban wineries, members-only clubs and at select yoga and fitness studios in New York City and Austin, Texas. Los Angeles marks the third market for the company since its launch in 2017. Vino Vinyasa Yoga® also offers private events for corporate offices, birthdays or bachelorette parties.
“I love offering something to the world that combines my two passions,” explains Perry, who holds her Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Wine from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust and is a certified yoga teacher. “Our hope is to make both yoga and wine more accessible, and to continue to expand the concept to other cities.”
