IATA provides the only official industry certification program in support of the New Distribution Capability (NDC) standard, the NDC Certification Program.
APG was granted “NDC Capable” Level 4 status for its NDC-based solution APG Distribution Platform, under the NDC Certification Program.
This status recognizes that the APG Distribution Platform supports deployments using Full Offer and Order management messages whose schemas are compliant with the standard NDC message schema, version 19.2.
Emilie Biggerstaff, Director of APG DS, comments “since IATA first initiated NDC, we have taken part in the NDC pilots, and are pleased to have accomplished every milestone set forth in this initiative.”
APG Platform is a Distribution Platform which can assist airlines to generate additional revenue by selling air and non air ancillaries combined as well as benefiting from distribution in new markets at lower distribution costs. Uniquely, the APG Platform is promoted and supported in over 150 countries by the APG Network.
The APG Distribution Platform is NDC compliant under the newest XML technology and follows all IATA standards.
