Century Casinos, Inc. announced today that it closed its Colorado casinos at 4 a.m. MDT on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 for the next 30 days to comply with a quarantine imposed by the Governor of Colorado to contain the spread of COVID-19.
The quarantine includes the closure of restaurants, bars and casinos in Colorado. The Company estimates that without business interruptions its Colorado operating segment would generate 9-11% of the Company’s 2020 net operating revenue and Adjusted EBITDA.
As previously disclosed, the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve and could adversely impact the Company, including in other North American markets in which the Company operates casinos if similar closures occur or other measures are taken.

The Company, through CRM, also owns a 7.5% interest in, and provides consulting services to, Mendoza Central Entretenimientos S.A., a company that provides gaming-related services to Casino de Mendoza in Mendoza, Argentina. The Company continues to pursue other projects in various stages of development.
