The Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) will hold a webinar on contract law and its application to the incentive travel industry, Friday, April 3, at 10 a.m. (Chicago), 4 p.m. (London).
Headlined “Ask me anything about … contracts”, SITE President, Jenn Glynn, CIS, CITP, will pose your questions to Jonathan Howe, founder and president of Chicago-based law firm, Howe & Hutton Ltd., and Meg Pisani, Senior Director of Supplier Relations at Maritz.
“In these unprecedented times, we’re all struggling to understand where we stand with contracts and, in particular, how to interpret terms like Force Majeure. I’m delighted that Jonathan and Meg have agreed to spend time with us and help untangle these thorny matters.
“Over her three decades as an incentive travel professional with Maritz, Meg has encountered all facets of contract law, developing the practical knowledge and skills to work her way around an array of complex legal issues. Jonathan, meanwhile, is known to most of us as “The Attorney for Meeting Professionals”. Having supported our industry during the Gulf War, 911, and SARS, Jonathan is well positioned to provide great legal insights for us now,” said Jenn Glynn, CIS, CITP, President of SITE.
