MPI UK & Ireland has announced its new board of directors for 2015/16, with American Express Meetings & Events’ Richard Parker assuming the role of president.
The new board includes following names:
President – Richard Parker, CMM, Amex GBT
President elect – Jane Baker, 2Heads
Past president – Miguel Neves, IMEX
VP education – Jackie Mulligan, UK Centre for Events Management
VP finance – Ed Bolling, Ironmongers’ Hall
VP communications – Chris Parnham, Absolute Corporate events
VP certification – Berivan Kockaya, CMP, EMAP
VP membership – Richard Allchild, IMEX
Deputy VP membership – Adam Said, TFI Group
Commercial director – Hamish Reid
The only new Board Member is Chris Parnham, owner of Absolute Corporate Events, who recently completed a two year tenure as Chairman of the HBAA where he took the association to new heights, modernizing its approach and delivering record numbers in membership, member satisfaction and event attendance. Parnham joins the MPI Board as VP of Communications.
