Zleep Hotel Vejle

Deutsche Hospitality to Expand its Zleep Portfolio in Denmark

Deutsche Hospitality announced its expansion plans for Zleep Hotels in Denmark with a new property to be opened in Southern Denmark.

A new Zleep Hotel will be constructed in Vejle in the Region of Southern Denmark and scheduled for completion in the summer of 2022, just in time for the start of the third stage of the Tour de France, which starts in Havneøen in Vejle on 3 July 2022.

The project will be realized in Havneøen, an urban and residential area being developed alongside the promenade of the Vejle Fjord.  The hotel will be situated close to the “Fjordenhus”, the new landmark of the district, and will also be located in the immediate proximity of the Yacht Harbour.

124 rooms are being planned. These will also include several “Zleep Living” rooms, which come equipped with a separate kitchenette and are designed to suit the needs of visitors wishing to stay for longer. In addition, 15 suites with up to 200 square metres in size will provide plenty of space, which can also be reserved for more extended periods.

They will offer guests a fully furnished home environment whilst still enabling them to take advantage of hotel services such as cleaning, laundry and the gym.

The Danish investment company Kirk Kapital, which has been developing a large real estate project on the harbour island of Havneøen for over ten years, will be in charge of construction works.

“Zleep Hotels is an important pillar for Deutsche Hospitality to grow further in Europe,” says Marcus Bernhardt, CEO, Deutsche Hospitality.

“Vejle is an interesting town for leisure and business travellers alike. With its dynamic vibe it is a perfect match for our brand and our portfolio.”

The hotel itself will boast a large lounge complete with reception area. There will also be a bar, a breakfast room, a café and a restaurant. The roof terrace will offer a vantage point from which guests can enjoy sweeping views of the Vejle Fjord, the promenade and the new urban district.

The hotel’s location in Havneøen also means that it will be an excellent starting point for those seeking to explore the modern town centre, to find out about Vejle’s Viking past or to embark on journeys of discovery in the surrounding countryside.

A car park in the new district ensures that plenty of space is available for both residents and guests.
