Amusement Park in Paris Reopens

The only amusement park in Paris proper, the Jardin d’Acclimatation has been closed since October 28, 2020. The amusement park in Paris now reopened and welcoming back Parisians, regular visitors, nature lovers and all those who have yet to discover this magical place.

During these long months the park’s teams of animal care specialists, technicians, gardeners and painters have remained hard at work each day to keep the rides, restaurants and gardens pristine, safe and more attractive than ever, waiting for visitors to return. Everyone was guided by a slogan shared via social media, gifs, jingles and videos: “On vous aime, on vous attend”, or “We love you, we can’t wait to see you again!”

Among the magical attractions in these extraordinary gardens are longtime favorites like the Enchanted River and the Flying Chairs, plus musts such as the Speed Rockets and the Steam Engine. And don’t forget the timeless big and little Merry-Go-Rounds or the Galloping Horses. Visitors young and old will love a visit to the Little Norman Farm, straight out of a picturesque Normandy village, as well as the Napoleon III style steel and iron aviary. A charming little outdoor theater welcomes Guignol and all his friends as they try to escape the clutches of the mustachioed gendarmes or rescue princesses in distress amidst 18 hectares of verdant paths next to the Fondation Louis Vuitton.

In the heart of the Bois de Boulogne, 42 rides and attractions, 450 animals and birds, picnic tables, lawns, wooded groves and prairies await families and friends, young and old eager to rediscover the pleasures of relaxing outdoor fun and freedom. And of course the Jardin d’Acclimatation ensures complete compliance with all requisite health protection measures in this paradise regained.

In addition to new rides, attractions and animal friends, the Jardin welcomes a new Italian restaurant, Da Antonino, plus the Gelateria Grom stand with click and collect service for those with a sweet tooth. There’s a magical partnership with Snapchat to enhance the visitor experience as well. Twelve highlight attractions will also offer augmented reality, and special promotions are available for pony rides and other attractions to make sure families can take full advantage of the park’s many choices.

The Jardin d’Acclimatation is easy to reach by bus or metro. The entire team is eager to welcome children, their parents and grandparents starting June 9 as happy days return to the park! See hotels near the amusement park.

For a pleasant and serene visit punctuated only by adventure and shared moments, the Jardin d’Acclimatation in Paris is opening online sales of tickets and passes on June 7 via its website: jardindacclimatation.fr
