Volotea, the airline of small and mid-sized European cities, launches today its first route from Malta International Airport to Catania in Sicily. Flights will be operated 3 times a week (on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) from 24 March 2016 with fares starting from €19,99 one way, tax included.
Catania is one of the top destinations in Sicily, renowned for its volcano, Mount Etna, but also for the beautiful seaside surrounding it. Catania is also the gateway to the oriental part of Sicily where cities like Siracusa, Ragusa and Noto, with their ancient history, spectacular monuments and above their great “cuisine”, are among the most appreciated places to see in Italy!
Currently, Volotea operates 157 routes among 67 small and medium European cities in 10 countries (France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Greece, Czech Republic, Croatia, Israel, Albania and Moldova).
