SalamAir Halts Services to India Affecting Multiple City Connections

SalamAir, Oman’s fastest-growing value-for-money airline, has announced the suspension of its services to India effective from October 1.

The airline, known for its operations to four Indian cities—Jaipur, Lucknow, Kozhikode, and Thiruvananthapuram—has ceased ticket issuances on its website, as per various media outlets.

This suspension will impact the airline’s routes from Fujairah Airport to Jaipur, Lucknow, and Thiruvananthapuram, as confirmed by SalamAir’s contact center in Dubai to Khaleej Times.

Customers affected by this suspension have reportedly been notified via email about the airline’s commitment to refunding their bookings. The suspension comes in the wake of restrictions related to flight rights allocation to India, limiting the airline’s ability to operate its usual range of services to the country.
