Pegasus Airlines Launches Istanbul to Tuzla Flights

Pegasus Airlines has officially launched its new flight route connecting Istanbul’s Sabiha Gökçen Airport to Tuzla International Airport.

The inaugural flight was celebrated with a ceremony attended by Turkish and Bosnian officials, marking a significant expansion in Pegasus’ network.

This new route strengthens ties between Türkiye and Bosnia and Herzegovina, promoting tourism, social, and commercial exchanges.

Pegasus’ Sales and Network Planning Director, Emre Pekesen, emphasized the potential of this new route, noting that the inaugural flight was fully booked. Pegasus plans to increase flight frequencies soon.

This new flight route between Istanbul and Tuzla is a reflection of the growing friendship between Türkiye and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Busan Green and Growing

Enver İskurt, Turkey’s Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, highlighted that the Tuzla Canton government requested this connection, and the Turkish government responded positively. The flight route aims to foster deeper social, economic, and tourism links between the two nations, with expectations of more developments in the near future.

Expanding Pegasus Airlines’ Network

Pegasus Airlines continues to grow its international footprint with this new route, bringing its total destinations to 107.

The airline plans to further expand its services by increasing flight frequencies, driven by the strong demand demonstrated on the inaugural flight.

Pegasus operates this route every Saturday, departing from Istanbul at 06:50 and returning from Tuzla at 08:50 on the same day.

The successful launch of the Istanbul-Tuzla route indicates strong potential for future growth in this region. Pegasus Airlines is optimistic about expanding its service frequency, offering more options for travelers between these two cities.

The new route is expected to enhance not only tourism but also business travel and cultural exchanges, strengthening the bond between Türkiye and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
