The first 25hours Hotel in Asia opens in Jakarta

The unique and eclectic 25hours Hotel Jakarta The Oddbird has opened its doors in November 2024, welcoming modern nomads, dreamers, and night owls seeking something different in the urban jungle.

25hours Hotels are known for their provocative urban locations, irreverent aesthetic, and romantic nostalgia. Each hotel is designed by a different designer and has a unique style.

Founded in 2005, 25hours has hotels in Berlin, Hamburg, Paris, Zurich, Vienna, Florence, Copenhagen, Dubai, Munich, Dusseldorf, Cologne and Frankfurt. The brand is now part of Ennismore, a creative hospitality company that was formed in 2021 as a joint venture with Accor.

As Asia’s first 25hours Hotel, it brings the lifestyle brand’s ‘Come As You Are’ philosophy to Jakarta’s fast-evolving, vibrant, and kinetic chaos, creating a colourful haven and a space for those who do ‘business unusual’.

Conveniently located in the heart of the Sudirman Central Business District (SCBD) within District 8, the hotel rises 38 storeys above Ashta Mall in the bustling Senopati district, one of Jakrata’s top business and lifestyle destinations.

Drawing inspiration from the area’s original vision as a garden city within a city, the hotel offers 210 lush garden rooms and retro urban rooms, each furnished with original vintage mid-century pieces and curated local and international art, evoking both nostalgia and the fleeting nature of time.

Additionally, the hotel includes 135 serviced apartments, 11 creative lounges, and a ballroom. Highlights also include an outdoor swimming room on the 9th floor, a spa and a karaoke lounge.

The Gigantic Garden Rooms invite guests to ‘go big or go home’. These rooms provide separate living and sleeping quarters, complete with amenities such as a 65” smart TV, king-sized bed, free Wi-Fi, minibar, as well as a generous rain shower and bathtub offering city views. Guests can also enjoy a complimentary Canvasco bag for shopping excursions and a Schindelhauer bicycle for urban explorations, both available at no extra charge.

The Large Urban Rooms bring a different vibe, offering stylish retro retreats above the bustling city with unique art pieces, retro colours, eclectic curiosities, and stunning skyscraper views. These rooms come equipped with a 55” smart TV, king-sized bed, free Wi-Fi, plus a rain shower and marble bathroom with city and garden views. Guests also enjoy a complimentary FREITAG bag, as well as a vinyl player for smooth, analogue sounds at no extra charge.

The hotel also offers co-working spaces complete with a maxi bar and uniquely themed meeting rooms designed for those embracing hustle culture. All public areas feature an eclectic mix of original mid-century modern pieces. The Vida Spa offers a tranquil retreat, including an outdoor infinity pool where guests can relax on sunbeds, enjoy plant-based snacks, and sip alcohol-free Piña Coladas.

The 25hours Things Shop, connected to Ashta Mall, is a captivating wonderland of sustainable treasures, upcycled creations, and local crafts. Guests can embark on a culinary journey at COPA, serving Latin American dishes crafted by Executive Chef Matias Mardones from Chile, enjoy cocktails at THE ODDBIRD BAR led by Marcello Monte from Argentina, or unwind by the pool with plant-based cuisine at CABANA, orchestrated by renowned Andrew Yap from The Old Man Bar Singapore, a fixture in Asia’s and the World’s Best Bars.

Two more exciting F&B concepts are set to debut on the rooftop, with announcements expected in Q1 2025.
