Hilton Adds Three Lifestyle Hotels in Athens

Hilton is set to strengthen its presence in the Greek capital with three new lifestyle hotels opening in 2025 and 2026.

The hospitality giant has confirmed franchise agreements with Aluma Greece IKE to introduce Adia Aluma Athens, Curio Collection by Hilton, Anise Aluma Athens, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, and Skylark Aluma Athens, Tapestry Collection by Hilton—adding over 500 new rooms to Athens’ thriving hotel scene.

Chris Nassetta, president and CEO of Hilton, expressed confidence in Greece’s appeal as a premier travel destination, highlighting Hilton’s commitment to expansion in Athens. The brand, which opened its first hotel in the city more than 60 years ago, is now doubling down on its investment in the capital’s booming tourism sector.

The first two properties, Adia Aluma Athens and Anise Aluma Athens, are expected to welcome guests in 2025.

Adia Aluma Athens, a Curio Collection by Hilton property, will feature 215 rooms, a restaurant, lobby bar, rooftop bar, and wellness facilities including treatment rooms and a fitness studio. Situated near Omonoia Square, a historic district that has undergone a major transformation in recent years, the hotel will benefit from the area’s vibrant mix of retail, dining, and nightlife.

Meanwhile, Anise Aluma Athens, part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, will open in Evripidou, one of Athens’ liveliest neighborhoods known for its eclectic charm and diverse shopping scene. The 99-room boutique hotel will include a restaurant, rooftop bar and pool, gym, and a meeting space, catering to both leisure and business travelers.

The third addition, Skylark Aluma Athens, is scheduled for a 2026 debut and will also belong to the Tapestry Collection by Hilton. Located near Omonoia Square, the 191-room hotel is expected to be a standout with its rooftop terrace, pool, restaurant, bar, wellness area, and meeting rooms.

Lior Raviv, CEO of Isrotel Hotel Chain, which is collaborating with Hilton on the project, emphasized the rising global demand for lifestyle hotels and expressed enthusiasm about bringing Curio Collection by Hilton and Tapestry Collection by Hilton to Athens.

The expansion aligns with Hilton’s broader growth strategy in Greece, which recently saw the debut of Hilton Garden Inn Athens Syggrou Avenue and the upcoming opening of Conrad Athens The Ilisian. With a strong portfolio that includes Lindian Village All-Inclusive Resort Rhodes, Curio Collection by Hilton, the brand continues to cement its position as a leader in Greece’s luxury and lifestyle hotel market.

All three new properties will be 35 km from Athens International Airport, ensuring easy access for international travelers. With these latest additions, Hilton aims to elevate Athens’ hospitality landscape while catering to the increasing demand for boutique, design-driven hotels in prime urban locations.
